ESNA - Overview OAuth is an open standard for authorization. OAuth provides client applications a 'secure delegated access' to server resources on behalf of a resource owner. It specifies a process for resource owners to authorize third-party access to their server resources without sharing their credentials.

Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition
4/27/2017 Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition More and more we see customers moving from IP500 stand-alone solution to Server Edition Are there migration paths? Yes, there are THREE possibilities: Commercial Feature Key Swap Keep licenses nodal
14
Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition
4/27/2017 Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition There’s too much tekst on this page … Commercial Offer-Special Pricing With this option all new licenses for Server Edition (including primary, secondary, and Linux or IP500 V2 expansion servers) are ordered at a 25% incremental discount for all the Server Edition licenses. This includes Server Edition centrally managed licenses on the primary server as well as any nodal licenses on the Linux or IP500 V2 expansion servers. Full details on this offer are available in a separate document. New SD cards must be purchased for any existing IP500 V2 unit that is planned for re-use as a Server Edition expansion server and the old IP500 V2 SD cards must be returned to Avaya. Note that the 25% incremental discount is not applicable to any hardware in the Server Edition solution. This commercial offer option ensures that all required Server Edition licenses (either centrally managed or nodal) are available after IP500 V2 migration to Server Edition.

Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition
4/27/2017 Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition … and getting worse… Feature Key Swap Authorized IP Office Distributors can complete a license swap in the Avaya Direct International (ADI) tool from the current 10 digit IP500 V2 Feature Key (FK) to the 10 digit Server Edition Feature Key (FK). This option is only valid when there is a single IP500 V2 migrating to become a Server Edition expansion server. Today, it is not possible to swap licenses from a FK to Server Edition System ID (SID) in ADI. The swap must be done to the Server Edition FK. The Server Edition FK can be found on the label of the Server Edition server box, or via ADI. To find a Server Edition FK in ADI, login and select "Place Order". Enter a $0 trial license (e.g. Material Code ) and the 40-digit SID for the Server Edition system and Select “Place Order”. Enter the last 6 digits from the 40-digit SID in the Order Number box and submit the order. When the order completes, select “View License Keys” and the Server Edition Feature Key ID will be displayed

Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition
4/27/2017 Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition Using this approach, only a Server Edition license for the IP500 V2 must be purchased. As partial license swaps are not supported, this is an all-or-nothing swap meaning all licenses are swapped to the Server Edition Primary Server FK. Not all IP500 V2 licenses are recognized or supported with IP Office Server Edition. For example, the IP500 V2 Teleworker license is not supported in Server Edition. These unsupported licenses must be either upgraded to Server Edition supported licenses (e.g. Power User) prior to the swap, or repurchased after the swap. The Server Edition unsupported licenses will appear as Obsolete or Dormant in the Server Edition IP Office management tools. In addition, some licenses must remain nodal on the IP500 V2 (e.g. PRI channels) in Server Edition. Any licenses in this category (i.e. licenses which must remain nodal on the IP500 V2 expansion server) must be repurchased after the swap. Note that all licenses on the Server Edition “To” FK will be overwritten after the swap. Also, the old SD cards must be returned to Avaya and the Distributor must notify Avaya of the original Feature Key #’s via . Avaya will manually invalidate the records in ADI for these original licenses and destroy the key once received.

Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition
4/27/2017 Act 3 - Migration IP Office SMB to Server Edition …almost there… Keep IP500 V2 Licenses Nodal The final option for migrating IP500 V2 to Server Edition as an Expansion Server is to keep all existing IP500 V2 licenses nodal. Similar to Option 2 described above, not all IP500 V2 licenses are recognized or supported in IP Office Server Edition. For example, IP500 V2 Teleworker is not supported in Server Edition. These licenses must be either upgraded to Server Edition supported licenses like Power User prior to the swap, or repurchased after the swap. Note: Any unused licenses on the IP500 V2 expansion server cannot be used by any other node in the Server Edition solution.
