A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun or nouns.

A noun is a person, place, or thing. You add an āsā to most nouns if you are talking about more than one.

He, she, it, him, and her take the place of just one noun. We, they, us, and them take the place of more than one noun. You takes the place of just one noun or more than one noun if you are referring to a group. I and me take the place of your name.

I, you, he, she, it, we, and they are used in the naming part of a sentence. Me, you, him, her, it, us, and them are used in the action part of a sentence.

The naming part names a person, place, animal or thing. The naming part tells who or what the sentence is about. The action part is the part of the sentence that tells what a person or thing does.
