2. Review Began with Knowing Knowing God, Knowing His will, Knowing our relationship to Him, Knowing the benefits of knowing God Then we continued with growing. Bible Study, Prayer, Stewardship, Worship, Participation in the local church

3. Understanding Now we are going to put all these together. So that we might understand what we have learned, And see how this all applies to our goal Of growing in the grace and knowledge of God.

4. Compare to a jig-saw puzzle Many different parts. Without all the parts, the puzzle is incomplete. The many parts work together for a purpose. One purpose is to give us a picture. Another purpose is to give us a relaxing thing to do.

5. The Old Testament Like the jig-saw, we know that each piece is important. What was given in the OT scriptures were pieces that needed to be put together. Some of the pieces came together to start forming the picture with the Patriarchs. The giving of the Law via Moses gave more pieces of the puzzle. More pieces were added via the prophets.

6. The New Testament Then John (the Baptist) and Jesus came and gave more pieces of the puzzle. This is where you start piecing the various pictures together and start putting them in their proper place. (sky, lake, barn, house, horse, buggy, etc.) Finally on the day of Pentecost, the whole picture came into being, and was completed at that time.

7. The puzzle realized Each piece of the puzzle represents a different aspect of what God wants us to do. Each piece is designed to fit together so that unity and cohesion are found, and each works to help the other meet its purpose. What are these pieces?

8. Conclusion Many parts of the Bible fit together. To leave pieces out is to be incomplete. No way to add something without messing it up. We will continue putting the pieces together to have a complete picture. As we grow, we get a better picture. A better understanding.
