Forcing, Initial and boundary conditions The present version is forced by the global SeaWIFS (Morel and Berthon, 1989) chlorophyll climatology and measured in situ data of nitrate from WOA database. Phytoplankton and zooplankton are estimated (Feldman and McClain, 2006).
