5 Qualified applicants are: faculty, post-docs and/or graduate students who have previously submitted an invention disclosure to the OTM or who submit an invention disclosure concurrently with their Bear Cub application.

6 Judging criteria Rank your top 5 picks according to the following criteria: Likelihood that an award (up to $75,000) would lead to significant de-risking of the proposed venture concept and thus enabling downstream funding possibilities. Potential impact of the venture concept, considering value of the product, the ability to deliver this value to the end- user and the ability to extract value.
