Posterior Ligaments Ischiofemoral ligament – post Other ligaments Tranverse ligament –Crosses the acetabular notch Ligamentum Teres - intracapsular - attaches to fovea -contains blood vessel

Cartilage Hyaline cartilage- covers head of femur and acetabulum Labrum – fibrocartilage ring triangular in cross section, horse shoe shaped
