Issues Less coverage of working days (153 in primary and 157 in upper primary against the approval of 166 days) Only 64% of the enrolled children have been covered under MDM. 65% children were not satisfied with the quality of meal served to them. (MI Report) 60% children were not satisfied with the quantity of meal served to them (MI Report) Honorarium to cook-cum-helpers is being paid in cash. Lesser engagement of cook-cum-helpers by MDM suppliers at school level for serving of meals. (MI Report)

Issues Health check up has been carried out for only 36% of enrolled children. Coordination amongst different departments/organizations – DOE, MCDs, NDMC and DCB. Data entry has not been completed for annual and monthly data in MDM-MIS. (only 68% annual data entry and 60% monthly data entry). Major problem of data entry is in MCD schools.
