2 Present Continuous For things that are happening in the moment of speaking – Right now, I’m speaking to all of you. – I’m writing to you to tell you how it feels to be unemployed.

3 Present Continuous For things that are temporary and happening around now, but maybe not at the moment of speaking – Now, he’s looking for a job. – She’s teaching at a primary school in Boston. – He’s working as a cook in a diner.

4 Present Simple For things that are temporary and happening around now, but maybe not at the moment of speaking – Now, he’s looking for a job. – She’s teaching at a primary school in Boston. – He’s working as a cook in a diner.

5 Present Simple For daily routines and things we always/sometimes/never do – He reads 5 chapters a day. – She brushes her teeth every morning and after lunch. – He never goes out to eat. – She sometimes calls her mother.

6 Activity Verbs Talk about activities or actions Present Simple OR Present Continuous – He rides the bus every morning. – He’s riding the bus right now to Plaza de España. If you leave right now you can meet him there in 10 minutes.
