The president appears in his Rough Rider uniform, prodding an enraged (and real) Republican Elephant to attack. The upper body of the opposing (and phony) Republican Elephant represents large railroad corporations (“trusts”). In the Senate’s visitors’ gallery, Uncle Sam watches the fight.
