4. Recitation Sessions Every Friday – 50 minutes Complete homework every Thursday by 11:00 p.m. Can be worked in group. You get three attempts and then the third answer is locked and scored. Recitation Instructor will go over problems You will self correct your work Ask questions and get help on trouble areas If issues remain see me or have instructor pass on issue for class lecture on Monday

5. Weekly Quiz Every Week you will have a quiz on that week’s material. The quiz is 90 minutes in length and is due by Sunday 11:00 p.m. The quiz will open every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. so you have essentially three days to take the quiz. You should review the weekly homework prior to taking the quiz. You can do the prepping for exam questions at the end of each chapter to prepare for the weekly quiz.

Class Structure -- Syllabus Chapter Assignments We will try and stay on schedule but… Changes will be posted on web Homework Assignments Map to timing from lectures I will cover the problems in class that have major issues if you ask me to cover them…but in general they will all be answered at the Friday Recitation You are graded on effort and timeliness – you can get your points “restored” only if you make a reasonable effort and show up for recitation and participate!
