Teaching the structure of language: A sequence of words in a grammatical unit Syntax: linguistic term identifying the study of the rules for the formation of grammatical sentences in a language Grammar is taught so that students will understand how speakers of English construct sentences. Learning grammar starts from basics to complex. Grammar is important for: Writing, Reading, and Speaking with ease Present, explain and practice structures
