2. Sequence- a set of numbers in a specific order. Term- Each number in a sequence. Arithmetic Sequence- When the terms in a sequence change by the same amount each time. Example: 3, 6, 9, 12, ?, ?,… (+3 each time)

4. Variables and Expressions Variable- a letter that represents a number. The number represented by a letter is not always the same value. It is the missing number. Algebraic Expression- Contains one or more variables and can contain math operations. Ex: 7 + p =13 3∙c = 18

5. Tables and lists to expressions Constant- Is what stays the same in an expression or equation. Ex: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16… you multiply by 2 each time, so your constant is times 2 Variable- is what changes each time in an expression or equation Ex: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16… the term is the variable because it changes each time.
