If your account is qualified to transfer into your Strategic Affluence 401k, simply fill out the documentation required by your present custodian. Then deposit those funds into your Strategic Affluence 401k and document the source of the funds. When transferring an IRA into your Strategic Affluence 401k, your IRA custodian will quite certainly file a form with the IRS which claims that your funds have been “rolled over”. This is fine and correct. However, it is critical that your tax returns be filed properly (including any penalties), showing that a rollover was completed on your behalf to your Strategic Affluence 401k. Also note that, after 2010, a little-known rule was put into effect that now allows traditional 401k’s to be rolled over to Roth 401k’s, which applies to the Roth “partition” of your Strategic Affluence 401k as well. The transfer and rollover of retirement funds can be complicated, but in general the best path is to consult with your tax advisor to see if the IRS allows transfer or rollover from your type of account to a 401k.
