Sight-singing successfully
Identify “do” in the piece. A chord is given to establish tonal center. An arpeggio is played to help establish a scale pattern. Sing the scale based on the chord and arpeggio. Starting pitch is given. Study the piece. Sing the notes in order. Do NOT sight-sing with words. Use solfege syllables to help you stay oriented. Ms. Nordan will demonstrate how to sight-sing.
