The Parable of the Unjust or Unrighteous Steward- Luke 16:1-13 This parable is peculiar to Luke. It is one of 13 which are not found in the other gospels. By comparison, 10 parables are found only in Matthew; and 5 are found in some combination of the gospels; and only 3 are found in Matthew, Mark, & Luke.

What was the steward’s reasoning and reaction to the judgment? 9. Just wondering: If the steward could have proved his innocence, could he have kept his job?

What it honest/just for him to do with them as he did? 12. How did his master respond to the steward’s actions?

Exactly what did the master “praise” about the steward and at what cost? Now, 14. What do you think is the point or spiritual application of the parable to the primary audience?
