Karl Popper was an Austro-Hungarian Philosopher Regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of the 20 th century Opposed all scepticism in science

Born in Vienna, Austria Emigrated to New Zealand during the rise of Nazi Germany, where he became a professor of philosophy at Canterbury University College of New Zealand He moved to London in 1946, where he began teaching at the University of London in 1949. Died in London

Wrote the novel All Life is Problem Solving, where Popper looked to explicate the evolution of scientific knowledge Another one of his books is called The Logic of Scientific Discovery, which is regarded as the pre-eminent novel of its subject In The Logic of Scientific Discovery, Popper states that science should adopt a perspective of falsification, which is to say that something can be proven wrong by an observation or experiment
