How is it made Most glass is a mixture of a large amount of silica that comes from fine white sand or pulverized sandstone then combined with smaller amounts of an alkali like soda (sodium bicarbonate), lime (from limestone), (also recycled glass) and finally its all melted together. Recycling Glass is 100% recyclable, the recycle centers take the glass to co. so they can melt the glass, then the glass starts the process all over again.
