1. Birth My name is Matthew Vincent Potesta I am 12 and in 7 th grade. My birthday is 11-10-00. The hospital I was born at was Beaumont at 8:00 A.M. I was 7.4 pounds and 19 inches tall.

2. Age 1 At age one I ate a lot.I also slept and cried a lot. That year I found out I had an older brother named Mark. He was 2 years older than me. I started walking at this age.

3. Age 2 When I turned 2, I took my first vacation with my family. We went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina! I still remember running around under the blazing hot sun at the blue Atlantic ocean. This was also my first time swimming in an ocean. It made it really exciting.

4. Age 3 At age 3 I went to school for the first time. I went into pre-kindergarten. At the school, I met many friends and a few still live near me. We didn’t really do much in pre-k. Pretty much all we did was eat, nap, and play.

5. Age 4 When I was 4 I started to play sports. I played basketball, T ball, and soccer. Basketball was my first sport and I played YMCA. I loved mostly all sports. My favorite was basketball.

6. Age 5 At age 5 I learned how to ride a bike. It took me a while of riding around my Neighborhood without falling. That year I started elementary school. I was going into kindergarten at Leonard. Starting elementary school terrified me, but also, I was extremely excited.

7. Age 6 At age 6 I lost my first tooth. I was in shock because I didn’t really know why or how my tooth could come out. This year was also the year I started trying new things. I tried new foods that I’ve never heard of before.

8. Age 7 At age 7 I rode my first rollercoaster. It was at my favorite amusement park Cedar Point.The intimidating ride was called the Iron Dragon. I was scared to ride it, but I really wanted to. In the end, I rode and wanted to go again. Also, this was the year I got my dog, Rocco. He’s a Golden Doodle and is huge!

9. Age 8 When I was 8, I started to play travel baseball.My Dad was the head coach. We formed a team called the Troy Titans and entered a league called NOBF. (North Oakland Baseball Federation). Are record was 9-12 not including tournaments. We did win one tournament and it was our first year playing travel baseball!

10. Age 9 At age 9 I went to Las Vegas. This was one of my favorite vacations I’ve taken. We even flew in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon while we were there! This was a vacation I will never forget.

11. Age 10 At age 10 I parasailed for the first time. I was in Florida and my brother and I went parasailing just off the beach we were on with my family. It was relaxing when we were lifted in the air. The boat even dipped us in the beach and pulled us back up in the windy air!

12. Age 11 When I was 11, I had 5th grade graduation. I graduated from 5th grade and was moving into middle school. This excited me because I thought middle school would be really fun, but then I realized middle school was just going to be harder.I was wrong, middle school isn’t even that much harder than elementary and it’s even more fun.

13. Age 12 Age 12 is the age I am now. I’m in 7th grade. At this age, I went to the Bahamas. We did so many things like hold dolphins, ride water slides, and swim. Also, I went to Cooperstown, New York for a baseball tournament. 104 teams from around the country went to the tournament and we place around 30th. This year we also got another dog named Mia.
