INTRODUCTION Sir Muhammad Iqbal widely known as Allama Iqbal. He was born on 09 Nov 1877 at Sialkot. Parents name were Sheikh Noor Muhammad and Imam bibi. we regarded him as a. Shair-e-Mashriq Muffakir-e- Pakistan Hakim-ul- Ummat National Poet

EDUCATION OF ALLAMA IQBAL
He got Basic education from mosque and learn Quran He did metric from mission school Sialkot. He did inter from scotch mission college. He did graduation from Government college Lahore. He obtain master degree in philosophy in from Cambridge university.

He went to Europe for higher studies on advise of his teacher Sir Thomas Arnold in 1905.
He continues his research in Heidelberg and Munich in Germany. He obtained his doctor’s degree (PhD) from Munich. He got PhD degree on thesis of “The development of metaphysic in Persia”

ALLAMA IQBAL AS A TEACHER
Allama Iqbal was appointed as lecturer of philosophy in Oriental college Lahore after master degree. after six years of teaching he left for Europe for higher studies. In London he taught Arabic literature and delivered a series of public lecture on Islam.

After PhD he joined the Government college as professor of philosophy & English literature and also continued practice of law He was associated with the university of Punjab as a Dean faculty of oriental studies. He appointed as Chairman of Department of Philosophy. He devoted himself chiefly to his study ,thought , and writing poetry.

ALLAMA IQBAL AS A THINKER
People recognized Allama Iqbal as a thinker whose revolution of Islamic thought has given the Muslim community a new sense of purpose of life. This is due to our great Iqbal that we are living as independent nation. Allama Iqbal motivate us in both, our religious life, as well as our social life.

ALLAMA IQBAL AS A PHILOSOPHER
Allama Iqbal’s philosophy is the philosophy of the self. He prizes and stresses self or individuality. The highest ideal, According to Iqbal is a continued life with the highest quality of knowledge, power, perfection, goodness, vision and creativity but this level is not a fix If any one acquires more qualities of ideal, it shifts it place to still higher level.

KEY POINTS OF IQBAL PHILOSOPHY
In his views education is the training of human will. Education as a social institution is a great concern of Iqbal. Iqbal educational philosophy is the philosophy of self. Iqbal universal theme is strongly humanistic. A strong will in a strong body is ethical ideal of Islam.

Allama iqbl wrote poetry all aspect of life. The effect of the thought of Allama Iqbal which he showed in his poetry was not bonded only in Hindustan or only for Muslims. people inspired to Iqbal from all over the world.

ALLAMA IQBAL AS A POET It is iqbal poetry who make us enthusiastic and brave. I personally think that a person who read iqbal can never be pessimistic. It is iqbal who reminds us our marvelous past age and advisable is to live like shaheen. It is the only bird in the world who never likes earth, it borne in space and lives his almost complete life on a journey, it never likes rest. Iqbal advise us to work hard and avoid the rest

ALLAMA IQBAL POETRY FOR CHILDREN
Most of his poetry is for young generation. He wrote some poems for children in his book bang-e-dara some famous poems are; Aik makra aur makhi Aik paharr aur gulahri Guye aur bakri Muslim ke dua In these poems Iqbal teaches the children the moral values and way of living. Some more poem for children are Shama aur parwana Prindey ki faryad Maa ka khawab Hamdardi Bache ke dua

CONCLUSION Finally, as a Pakistani citizen, I have reason to be grateful to Iqbal as the man who gave us the idea and vision of Pakistan. Allama Iqbal who was simultaneously a poet, a philosopher and a political thinker, was able to invest it with prestige. He therefore lives in our history as the real father of Pakistani nationalism and tributes paid to him each year are only an expression of the nation’s gratitude to man who gave a new sense of purpose and destiny.

DEATH OF ALLAMA IQBAL Allama Iqbal died on 21st April 1938.His tomb is located in right side at main gate of Badeshi mosque Lahore.
