2. Introduction Current Twenty One Pilots website
These are a couple of changes I’m going to change:
White background instead of black
Stick to one column instead of having float rights and float lefts
Home page includes more pictures, no videos
Only one navigation bar
I have chosen to do Twenty One Pilots as they have quite a basic website at the moment, with a colour scheme already chosen for them, which will make things a little easier for me. I also think the website is a little dark for the kind of music they make, so I’ll be changing the background from black to white, to make it look a little less cluttered and neat, it will also make the red text a lot easier to read on the white background compared to the black
I’m also going to be making it more interactive and organised, by using my skills in edge animate, I’m going to make thing such as an interactive timeline of important events that have happened to Twenty One Pilots over the years, and also have an interactive biography about each of the members that will give basic information about them such as what they do in the band, how old they are , things they enjoy and ect.

My target audience
The target audience for my website will obviously mainly be for twenty one pilots fans who are passionate about them, as Twenty One Pilots are who my website is based about, but along with people who are already fans, it’s going to be a website where new fans of the band, or people who have never heard of them and are interested in finding out about them, can easily listen to their music, watch their music videos and find out information about the band and their past.
Other than people who have an interest in the band themselves, the website will be for people who enjoy their genre of music, as there will be audio for them to listen to on the website that gives them a taste of what Twenty One Pilots sound like, which could also possibly bring in new fans to the band, which is what most website are designed for, along with for people who are fans already.

This is my mood board, as you can see I have a basic colour scheme of Blue, Red, White and Black, along with having music on it and a lot of pictures of the band

Again with my second mood board you can see I have a a basic colour scheme, along with a basic century gothic bold font as that is the font they use in their own logo, so it will tie in with the rest of the website, along with a lot of fan art which will be heavily used in the website

For my website am going to include many different assets. The first page of my website is going to be a edge animate splash page, which is then going to have a link to the home page of the website. I’m going to have an embedded twitter feed on the home page as well, so it’s in plain view and an easy way to keep up with what the band are doing. Along with this, I’m going to have a video gallery with all the bands music videos, and maybe a couple videos of live shows that they upload onto their own YouTube channel, and on a separate page I’m going to have a photo gallery of photo-shoots the band have done, pictures from their live shows, and also a picture gallery of fan art. Originally I was going to have an embedded Spotify playlist, but have since decided to put all of the song separately onto the site to make it look neater, as I thought having multiple Spotify playlists of each of their albums would make the page look a bit cluttered.
Also as mentioned in my introduction, I’m going to have multiple edge animates on my website, such as an interactive timeline of the band achievements over the years, and an interactive biography on both the members

This is my splash page, as you can see there are seven pages all together, including the splash pages, most of these pages are going to be scrolling pages so they will hold a lot of information

8. Navigation methods

For my navigationg I went for a basic navigation bar without any drop downs as I’m going to have multiple scrolling pages.
The font and the colours of the navigation bar go with the bands logo, so it helps keep the website tied together, it is also going to be fixed to the top of the screen so it is visible at all times
As you can see by the picture in the bottom left, the band sometimes where ski masks on stage, so it has become a bit of an icon for them so for my navigation bar when you hover over the page names, a red ski mask will appear behind the page name, and when you are currently on the page, it will blue a blue ski mask so the viewer is aware of what page they are currently on

9. Rough Template
This is my rough template for my website, both the navigation bar and footer will be fixed to the top and bottom so no matter what size screen the viewer is looking at the website from they will always be at the top and bottom of the page

10. Rough Home Page
This is the rough template for my home page, the picture box is going to have a link to a separate picture page that will hold a photo gallery

11. Rough Timeline Page
This is the rough for my timeline page, this is the page that will hold the edge animate timeline I have made, a long with links to where you can buy merch to fill out the page a bit more.

12. Rough Music Page
This is the music page that viewers will be able to browse through and click songs they want to listen to and also find links to the music videos for the songs that have them

13. Video Page Rough
This is the rough for my video page, it’s pretty basic and will just include a video gallery that will open up the videos to play on the page rather than opening it up through YouTube
