4. -Electronic locks generally cost between $70 - $400 [2]. -Normal locks do not have forced entry detection [2]. -The only locks that allow remote unlock are the more expensive versions [3][4]. -Other electronic locks do not have the ability for the user to see what phone was used to unlock the system [2]. 5. Proposed Features: -Reasonable pricing at mid-market value, approximately $200 -Forced entry detection feature notifies the owner upon attempt -Door entry information: Number of entries, Phone used to unlock, etc.

6. The system is wired directly into the customer’s electrical system and is therefore as reliable as the power supply. In case of power outage, the system can be powered from the backup power supply for a 24 hour period. [5]

7. The system will notify the homeowner via SMS if a forced entry is attempted. The user will also be able to secure area with cell phone via SMS. [6]
