WHATEVER BECAME OF SIN?
4
And so, “…Cain [is forlorn]…his face…downcast. Then the Lord said to Cain…Why is your face down- cast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right -- sin is crouching at your door, it desires you -- but you have to master it…” (Genesis 4:4-7)
5
For as Paul declares in Colossians 2, on the cross, God has “…cancelled [sin]…[and all] that [stands] opposed to us… [taking] it away, nailing it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:14)

Stop Kidding Yourself: You Won’t Get Away With It
7
“…you may be sure, your sin will find you out…” (Numbers 32:33)
8
“Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men…are given fully to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11, NASV)

“Have you repented yet today?”

Realize: God Is More Eager To Forgive, Than We Are To Confess!
11
“God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins…” (Colossians 2:13)
12
Contrary to popular perception, God is not in heaven seeking to damn us when we sin; God is in heaven eager to deliver us, issuing amazing grace and favor!
13
God does utilize Jesus the Savior -- the Lamb of God -- who as John the Baptist notes in John 1:29, “…takes away the sin of the world…” (John 1:29) – absorbing our mess, blotting out our sin -- for on Jesus, Isaiah notes, was “…laid…the iniquity of us all…” (Isaiah 53:6)

“God, who sees us in our worst moments, does not [ultimately] measure us by [those moments].” – Elisa Morgan

Become ‘Consumed’ By The Generosity of God
16
“…Live in [Christ]…” (Colossians 2:6), Paul encourages. “For in Christ, all the fullness of the Deity lives…[Thus you’ve] been given fullness in Christ, who is head over every power and authority…” (Colossians 2:9-10). And so yes “…you were dead in your sins… [but] God made you alive with Christ…” (Colossians 2:13).
17
Christ has “disarmed [everything else], the powers and authorities… [making them] a public spectacle …triumphing over them by the cross.” (Colossians 2:15)
