2. Our goal In this project our goal was to stop each way that heat transfers Conduction – the transfer of heat from one particle of matter to another Convection- the transfer of heat by the movement of currents within a fluid Radiation- the transfer of energy by electromagnetic waves

3. 1 st step

4. 2 nd step Foam block Cutting the foam block to fit the requirements. Then we hollowed it out to fit the can. After we cut a lid for the box We used the foam block because we thought it would be a good insulator for the heat transfer to have little to none

5. 3 rd step Hot and Cold bag Cutting the hot and cold bag to glue on each side of the foam. There are 3 layer to the hot and cold bag the outer layer which it waterproof went on the outside on the foam sides the middle layer which was the padding went in the inside making a mold for the can We used this to help make our box water proof and to stop the heat transfer

6. 4 th step Duck Tape We warped Duck Tape around the water proof layer of the Hot and Cold Bag We used duck tape for looks and to hold everything on and to help cover cracks that water would leek into the box
