SYSTEMSDESIGN 4 Presentation  Know your audience.  Organization and notes.  Communication  Tell them what you are going to say.  Say it.  Tell them what you said.  Introduction  Get their attention  Summarize  Conclusion  Summarize choices  Practice!  Timing  Mirror or video tape.  Speaking hints  Speak “naturally,” but slowly and distinctly.  Talk to the audience.  Maintain eye contact.  Avoid podiums.  Be prepared.  Believe in yourself.  Keep presentations short.  Leave time for questions.  Provide breaks, physical or mental.  Watch for nonverbal feedback.
