Current Open IRP Ballots IRP Ballots Currently Open for Voting Ballot 392 – Inadequate Assessment This ballot proposes amend Section 1015 - Inadequate Records; Assessment This proposed ballot would allow the auditor to apply the inadequate records provision and calculate fees that should have been paid to both the reported and the unreported jurisdiction(s).

IRP Full Reciprocity Plan - FRP Full Reciprocity Plan Changes the estimated distance process in IRP Changes the process for first time and expanded operations First time registrants will pay all jurisdictions based on their base jurisdictions average distance per vehicle chart

IRP Full Reciprocity Plan - FRP Full Reciprocity Plan Renewal registrants will pay only for those jurisdictions they had operations during the reporting period ALL jurisdictions will be reflected on the IRP cab card Detailed information available on the IRP website

IRP Full Reciprocity Plan - FRP Implementation of FRP Jurisdictions working to prepare to implement FRP by the effective date of January 1, 2015 Survey conducted and many have indicated they are ready or will be ready. Still have a few jurisdictions to hear back from FRP Task Force has provided a check list or guidance document that should be helpful to jurisdictions

IRP Dues Changes the IRP Dues due date This ballot aligns the due date for IRP dues to be paid each year with the IRP fiscal year which is Oct 1 – Sept 30.

IRP Audit Exchange Addressing the need to improve the exchange of audit between the member jurisdictions Partnering with IFTA to host the process similar to the IFTA audit exchange process Up and operational Thanks for IFTA for a wonderful job and helping make the project a success!

Meeting with Mexico Meeting hosted in Laredo, Texas in late April Hosted by Texas Motor Vehicle Division Attendees included representatives from: Mexico Federal Government Mexican Motor Carriers Texas DMV and Public Safety FMCSA IRP & IFTA (IFTA represented by Kurt Davenport

Meeting with Mexico Purpose of the meeting was to provide Mexico officials and motor carriers with information on: Operations in the US IRP and IFTA requirements Procedures for petitioning to join IRP Information on federal requirements Etc. Future meetings discussed Possible meeting with US carriers later this year
