What you said: There is a positive atmosphere within the school and the pupils are obviously very proud of their school. Teachers always encourage pupils to do their best. Sports Day was much better this year – it was great to see competitive races – my kids absolutely loved it! Love the newsletters, texts and email reminders. The school seems to have bounced back after last year’s disruption. The new building is wonderful – especially the quadrangle. We cannot speak highly enough of the school; our children run in everyday and are so very happy at Woodheys. Golden Time is a fantastic idea. Long may it continue! Lots of encouragement of children’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them and the immediate environment.

What you also said: Academic does not seem to be the first thing people say about the school. Communication tends to be one way, with little consultation to ascertain parents views or to explain how decisions are made. We have no feedback on Governors fulfilment of their role. There aren't always a wide range of after school clubs. All teachers should follow same agenda in parents evening - as time is limited. Communications have been a bit hit and miss this year. School Meals: Portions too small…gone onto packed lunch. More information about child's progress and achievements plus levels should be explained. Lunch Staff should have further training.
