2.  Dear Reader, The message from “To kill a mockingbird” is to be brave, courageous. I chose this theme because the book revolved around taking chances. Dill showed bravery by running away from home. He was courageous in going out in the world alone. He hoped his absence from home would encourage his mother to care for him. In the end, Dill’s mother became worried about his whereabouts. Some challenges Dill faced were stealing his mother’s money, walking, and taking the bus alone to the Finch’s house. My perspective of the novel “To Kill A Mockingbird” is very upright; it takes bravery and courage to prove your point. I would read it again. Theme

4.   The school will be holding a bake sale fundraiser to help her find Dill.  All students please bring a baked item to school for this event.  The prices of the baked goods will start at 10 cents.  The bake sale will start promptly after school in the cafeteria.  Donations and volunteers are welcome.
