Business failures do not just begin with corporate mismanagement issues. 13:12 Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot lived among the cities of the plain and pitched his tent near Sodom. 14:12 They also carried off Abram’s nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom. Lot’s eventually disaster, both financially and personally, started subtly with a relational failure.

The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted. (v14-17) Check out Hebrews 11:11-12

Godly ambition checklist Do you see yourself as a success or failure? How aware are you of sinful ambitions? How conscious are you of your treatment of others? How much risk are you prepared to take for God?
25
Is your ambition to be like Jesus? Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit….Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: “Who, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death- even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:3,5-11
