1. CREATING APPLE ID

2. Open iTunes, choose Download iTunes

3. Open iTunes, click on “iTunes Store”

4. Once iTunes is opened, click on “App Store” at the top

5. Scroll down and find the heading “TOP FREE APPS” choose an app, doesn’t matter which, as long as it is FREE. I chose ELFYOURSELF by Office Max

6. Click “Create Apple ID”

7. Click Continue

8. Scroll down the page and “check” the I have read.... box, then click Agree

9. Enter ALL information, and UNCHECK the two boxes at the bottom. Click Continue

10. Select NONE as your payment type, fill out billing info click Create Apple ID

11. DOWNLOADING iBOOK AUTHOR

12. Open App Store

13. Type “ibook author” into the search box

14. Click “FREE”

15. Click “Install App”

16. Enter your credentials

17. Connecting iPad to Macbook

20. Plug into bottom side, gently. Do NOT force

21. Symbol should face UP to plug into iPad

22. Plug cord into Macbook, symbol should face up again. Does not matter which USB port you use.

23. iTunes will open, click Continue

24. Previewing iBook on iPad from iBook Author

25. Open iBook Author on your Macbook

26. Create iBook Content

27. Open iBook on the iPad

29. Click Preview

30. Select connected iPad, click Preview

31. iBook will open on iPad
