1. To insert a sound file, click insert / object

2. With the Create New tab visible, scroll down the list and choose Wave Sound / click OK

3. Record your sound – the controls to do this replicate a cassette recorder – usually a microphone will need to be attached to your processor. Close the recording box

4. To play the sound double click the speaker icon.

5. Adjustments to the sound recording can be made using the effects drop down menu

6. To insert an existing sound file, click insert / object. With the Create from File tab visible click browse and locate the file you wish to insert

7. Select the file then click insert

8. The file name appears as the selected file. Click OK

9. To play the sound double click the speaker icon.
