Table of Contents We examined the Double Decker Taco Supreme from Taco Bell and the Taco Carne Asada from Rubio’s. Slide 1: Gives nutrition facts and benefits and non- benefits of each. Slide 2: Gives the nutrition labels for comparison. Slide 3: Lists three interesting things that we came across.

Taco Bell and Rubio’s Double Decker Taco Supreme One serving is 191g 380 calories 41% carbs 43% fats 16% proteins Benefits: 8g fiber which is necessary for your digestive health and can prevent diabetes and reduce the risk of heart disease. 15g protein which is needed for growth and helps to build muscle. Non-beneficial: 760mg sodium which can cause water in balance when there is too much.7g saturated fat which helps you to gain weight. Carne Asada Taco One serving is 150g 250 calories 42% carbs 22% proteins 36% fats Benefits: Sodium helps muscle contraction, calories provide energy. Lots of saturated fat, which is bad for you and causes you to gain weight and it is lacking in dietary fiber which is necessary for your digestive health.

Three Interesting Things No food that we ever looked at from a fast food restaurant was very filling, which would result in over eating, and can cause obesity. All fast food has a lot of sodium, which you need in moderation, but do not want to have too much.

So, Which One is Healthier? The Rubio’s Carne Asada is healthier because it has less calories, saturated fat, and sodium. It also has more nutrients such as calcium, vitamin c and iron. Vitamin C helps to protect against infection, calcium aids in bone and tooth formation and blood clotting, and iron gives you energy.
