OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART PAUL BALOCHE Open the eyes of my heart Lord Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you, I want to see you (REPEAT)
3
To see you high and lifted up Shining in the light of your glory Pour out your power and love As we sing holy, holy, holy
4
Holy, holy, holy I want to see you Copyright – 1997 Integrity’s Hosanna! Music/ASCAP CCLI #1613438

FIRST READING Am 6:1a, 4-7 Thus says the LORD the God of hosts: Woe to the complacent in Zion! Lying upon beds of ivory, stretched comfortably on their couches, they eat lambs taken from the flock, and calves from the stall! Improvising to the music of the harp, like David, they devise their own accompaniment.
7
They drink wine from bowls and anoint themselves with the best oils; yet they are not made ill by the collapse of Joseph! Therefore, now they shall be the first to go into exile, and their wanton revelry shall be done away with.
9
PSALM Ps 146:7, 8-9, 9-10 R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
10
Blessed he who keeps faith forever, secures justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets captives free. R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
11
The LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up those who were bowed down; the LORD loves the just. The LORD protects strangers. R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
12
The fatherless and the widow he sustains, but the way of the wicked he thwarts. The LORD shall reign forever; your God, O Zion, through all generations. Alleluia. R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
14
SECOND READING 1 Tm 6:11-16 But you, man of God, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness. Compete well for the faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you before God, who gives life to all things,
15
and before Christ Jesus, who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate for the noble confession, to keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ that the blessed and only ruler will make manifest at the proper time, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, and whom no human being has seen or can see.
16
To him be honor and eternal power. Amen.

GOSPEL Lk 16:19-31 Jesus said to the Pharisees: "There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table.
19
Dogs even used to come and lick his sores. When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, and from the netherworld, where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he cried out, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me.
20
Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.' Abraham replied, 'My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented. Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is established to prevent
21
anyone from crossing who might wish to go from our side to yours or from your side to ours.' He said, 'Then I beg you, father, send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they too come to this place of torment.' But Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.' He said, 'Oh no, father Abraham,
22
but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' Then Abraham said, 'If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.'"
24
PROFESSION OF FAITH We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
25
Begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: (BOW HEAD) By the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered, died, and was buried.
26
On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures, he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
27
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

COMMUNION SONG TABLE OF PLENTY #310
38
DAYS OF ELIJAH ROBIN MARK These are the days of Elijah, Declaring the Word of the Lord. And these are the days of Your servant, Moses, Righteousness being restored.
39
And though these are days of great trials, Of famine and darkness and sword, Still we are the voice in the desert crying, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord!”
40
Behold He comes, riding on the clouds, Shining like the sun, at the trumpet call. So lift your voice, it’s the year of Jubilee And out of Zion’s hill, salvation comes.
41
These are the days of Ezekiel, The dry bones becoming as flesh. And these are the days of Your servant, David, Rebuilding a temple of praise.
42
And these are the days of the harvest, The fields are as white in the world. And we are Your laborers in Your vineyard, Declaring the Word of the Lord.
43
Behold He comes, riding on the clouds, Shining like the sun, at the trumpet call. So lift your voice, it’s the year of Jubilee And out of Zion’s hill, salvation comes.
44
Who Was, And Who Is, and Who Is To Come Who Was, And Who Is, and Who Is To Come (x2)
