2. Hans and Others More than one billion people live in China, more than any other country. Most Chinese people are Hans. Hans have dark hair and almond shaped eyes. There are also 55 other groups in China, each smaller than the Hans. Each group has their own language and alphabet.

3. Living in China In cities, people live and work close together. Most people in China live along the crowded coasts. Some people live in the countryside. Many children in China grow up without any brothers or sisters because the government only wants families to have one child. Would YOU like to be growing up in China?
