4 Final Payment Final Payment is due on Monday, February 22 nd $249 This totals $1,149 which was the amount given at the informational meeting Please get up to date on your payments!

7 Behavior Expectations/Code of conduct School sponsored trip: act as if you are at school or better (this includes on the bus!) Any rules broken will result in suspension upon return Depending on severity, banned from future trips and sent home at parents expense Girls only in girls rooms and vice versa –AT ALL TIMES –Use public spaces for hanging out Keep Room Clean!!!

9 Luggage Restrictions 1 medium size duffle/suitcase 1 Carryon for bus (regular backpack / bag) –Include park clothes, sunscreen, comfortable shoes –We will be going directly to the parks Average temps- low 60s, high in the low 80s (plan for 70’s) Tip: Save room for souvenirs!!!! 13 Itinerary Day 2: March 26th, Saturday -11 AM (approximately): arrive at Hollywood Studios, distribute tickets and meal vouchers after getting off bus -9 PM- Meet at front of Hollywood Studios after Fantasmic, travel to hotel -Check into hotel rooms, in rooms by 10:30 -SHOWER

14 Itinerary DAY 3: March 27th, Sunday Breakfast at the hotel Meet outside hotel at 8:00 AM for attendance 8:15 AM: Depart for EPCOT 1:15 pm: Motorcoaches with equipment, instruments on board to the pre-show area where the group will meet to unload instruments and proceed to workshop rehearsal Room 1:30pm Performers and directors meet your Disney Guest Talent Coordinator at the drink Kiosk to the left of Italy in the World Showcase area of EPCOT

16 Itinerary DAY 4: March 28th, Monday Breakfast at Hotel Meet outside hotel at 8:15 AM for attendance, leave for Magic Kingdom 12:30 PM: Motorcoaches with uniform, equipment and instruments pre-show area where the group will meet them 1pm: Meet by Golden Oak Outpost food-cart in the Frontierland section of Magic Kingdom (next to Splash Mountain) to move backstage to change and warm-up prior to the group’s marching performance

17 Itinerary DAY 4: April 16, Wednesday Continued 2:30 PM "Disney Festival of Fantasy" Pre-Parade ahead of the daytime character parade down Main Street USA Return to the backstage area of the park to change back into street attire, attend awards ceremony Meet to discuss rules, next meeting time 8PM: Meet at front of Magic Kingdom for fireworks and parade Leave after night time parade Meals- Disney Voucher

18 Itinerary DAY 5: March 29th, Tuesday Breakfast at the hotel Meet outside hotel at 7:30AM for attendance Depart Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (you will be able to hop between parks) Dinner in park by meal coupon 10 PM Meet at City Walk

19 Itinerary DAY 6: March 30th, Wednesday Breakfast at the hotel; hotel checkout Meet outside at 8AM, final luggage checks Load instruments and luggage onto motorcoaches prior to departing for the park Depart for Animal Kingdom 6 pm meet at front of park for Departure Disney Springs- Tram to All-Star Disney, then shuttle to Disney Springs (used to be called Downtown Disney) 11pm meet for Taylor traveling straight through

20 Itinerary DAY 7: March 31th, Thursday Meals on own and mandatory rest stops en route 10 PM: Anticipated arrival back in Taylor Ms. Williams will send a remind101 text, students call home 30 and 10 minutes away Collect luggage, instruments, and souvenirs before departing for home

22 On The Bus Ipod, Kindle, handheld games,etc. –Earbuds / headphones –You are responsible for these items –No outlets on the bus to charge Movies (PG), books, cards Snacks / drinks (Closed containers only- no pop-top cans) Pillow / blanket

23 On The Bus Keep your Area Clean- bring plastic bags, makes it easy! No Yelling: bring earbuds/headphones No spraying cologne/perfume/hairspray Avoid use of the bathroom while bus is moving - number 1 only Keep upper compartments closed Quiet Time starts at 11:30 PM When arriving at Disney, no one gets off until chaperones check for cleanliness !

24 To Do Before the Trip Bring in final payment Clean Uniform- not cleaned, you will not perform –1 Hr Martinizing- Southgate on Eureka (gives Kroger discount) –Annex Cleaners- Lincoln Park on Goddard Make sure students have a Medical Form (from Marching Band) turned in Bring in Permission Slip

25 To Do Before the Trip Any medications must be in the original bottle with directions Inhalers stay with students. Students will find chaperones when time for medication. $15-$20 in an envelope/plastic bag with students name on it –Will be given to their assigned chaperone for their food on the way home –Chaperones and Directors will not be held responsible for feeding students on the way back

26 Hygiene and Health NO DIETS- Students must eat AT LEAST 2 meals a day Drink plenty of water- at least half of your body weight in oz. SUNSCREEN (Even if there are clouds, you can still burn) SHOWER EVERY DAY, deodorant use is MANDATORY

27 While on Trip BE ON TIME! PERFORMANCES, getting on the bus, reporting in to chaperones at designated time Stay in groups of at least 3 at all times, if caught in groups of 2 or alone, will spend quality time with chaperones Save money for food! We will not be responsible for feeding you! Have phone handy and charged for information

29 Returning Home Parents: Be ready to pick up your student Ms. Williams will send out a remind101 text when 30 min and 10 min away We will not wait longer than 15 minutes

30 Photopass We have purchased a memory maker package for Pictures. Please Stop and get the Disney Photographers to take your picture. They will then give you a card. Take a picture of the card (incase you lose it) and at the end of the trip please give all cards to Mrs. Zorn or Ms. Williams. All Photographs will then be placed on our band Shutterfly account.

33 Disney has an app called My Disney Experience, that will allow you to see maps and wait times. It will also allow you to select Fastpasses to reduce wait times. Disney has banned selfie sticks. Almost all Disney world Rides have a spot to hold your bag. Any counter service restaurant with a soda fountain you can get a glass of ice water free. (Stay hydrated) Every park has a first aid station. They will give you band aids, tylenol and such as needed if medical form allows. They will also be able to reach Ms. Williams if necessary.
