9 As the eccentric shaft rotates, it rolls the impellers around the internal circumference of the slow speed gear. The resulting action is similar to that of a wheel rolling around the inside of a ring. Since the impellers are fixed, this imposes a movement of the slow speed gear. 11 Which are the advantages?  High mechanical efficiency: Higher than 80% (+50% compared to the traditional gearboxes )  Robustness and reliability: the load is distributed to many contact points  Vibration and noise reduction: the impellers are 180°out of phase, making the gearbox perfectly symmetrical and equilibrated  Dimension reduction: the whole gearbox is contained in the slow speed gear, which is directly connected to the gate rack Cyclo gearbox

12 High mechanical efficiency Cyclo gearbox Lower power consumption means lower heat dissipation: better operating conditions for the mechanical components (motor, gearbox, etc.) that means a longer lifetime of them. x2 Higher thrust force and speed (up to 24m/min) can be achieved with a lower electrical power consumption The Cyclo gearbox allows to reach a mechanical efficiency that is up to two times higher than traditional gearboxes. 14 Installation of C720 operator: Due to the new reduction principle, the dimensions of the C720 pinion are slightly different from traditional operators. 21 L : apart from the engine, this dimension must accommodate the transformer, the emergency battery (XBAT) and the fixing holes for the foundation plate. Unlike in the 740, 746 and 844, the fixing holes are inside the case. Seems empty? Not true, the dimensions have been carefully designed and they directly come from the following technical motivations: D : due to the total length of reduction + motor + pinion. H D L Design Studied H : due to the pinion’s height (Z28), the control board (which is mounted in a vertical position for easiness of access, programming and water resistance), and the motor release handle (which is vertical to allow an easier release operation) In general, the wide space availability makes installation and configuration very comfortable for the installer.

26 GS mark The C720 operator has been recognized with the GS quality mark, which indicates that it was tested by a third part (Nemko Institute) and it complies with the requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act. The GS is a voluntary mark, but it’s not a self- certification like EN Tested (used by our competitors) and it should not be confused with the CE mark.
