Absences Parent or guardian must call 668-3429, between 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on the day the student is absent. If a call isn’t possible, the student should bring a signed note from you to the attendance office upon returning to school. A health care provider’s verification is required for absences that exceed 8 cumulative or 3 consecutive days due to illness. As long as we have your correct contact number in our system a robo-call will be made home later in the day if your student failed to show up in a class if the absence was unexcused. If you anticipate your student will miss a significant number of days, contact each teacher directly through e-mail. If a teacher needs to leave materials to be picked up, he or she will leave them in the Main Office which closes every day at 4:00. Please allow the teacher a reasonable amount of time to get work together. This is not always possible on the same day that you call.
