Younger persons have a tendency to use social networking and play video games more than older persons. Data Collection: At Reasor’s grocery I surveyed a minimum of ten persons in each age bracket. Of those brackets that exceeded ten I selected the first ten respondents. After the age of 18, I used 12 year increments on age.

4. HYPOTHESIS: The use of technology is age related. Younger age groups have a tendency to spend more time using technology. 8. Conclusion: The survey confirmed my hypothesis. The youngest group played video games more than older groups. And was consistent. Social networking was used more by the youngest group than the oldest group. However, the trend was not consistent throughout the age groups. The middle two groups did not confirm my hypothesis.
