2.  1) The cost of plane tickets to get to Venice is $1047 and the date of departure is June 4.  2) In order to live in Venice, you would need MMR, DPT, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis A, and flu shots.  3) You would go to the Allison Park Post Office to get a passport and pay $135 with your application.  4) $2,000 US dollars equals $1, 470.05 Euros.

3.  The neighborhood I selected is in the San Polo district and the apartment has 1 bedroom. It costs $698 USD/month. I chose this neighborhood because it is cheaper than living in the City Center. By the Grand Canal are the famous Rialto markets where you can buy food like fresh fruits and vegetables. There is also open space along the Grand Canal, where you can sit at a table among tourists, students, and locals. I would have to walk or take buses or water taxis to get around.

4.  To get around Venice, walking is very convenient but there are many other modes of transportation such as gondolas, water taxis, water buses, etc. You should not ride a bike in Venice because it is not allowed in the historic center so you would have to leave it outside of that area. I would get a monthly pass ( abbonamento ) for €30. But first I would need to buy a tessera IMOB, a photographic ID card which costs a total of €40 then upgrade to a 'Carta Venezia'. After I have one of these cards, I can also use it to purchase single tickets at resident's rates - €11 for a carnet of 10 journeys.

5.  There are many good restaurants including Birraria La Corte which serves pizza, salads, pasta and delicious desserts. For entertainment, there are many opera-style concerts. Also, there are many museums to visit and shopping around the Rialto bridge.
