Desktop Services Mission To facilitate and further the University’s academic aims through the effective management of Desktop IT systems by: Providing a managed Desktop environment to meet current teaching, learning and admin requirements Planning and managing the introduction of new technology Giving clear and accurate advice and guidance to users of desktop systems Resolving hardware and software problems quickly and effectively

Central Systems Mission To provide always-on, high performance computing facilities that meet the needs of all LSBU customers.

Information Systems Group Mission To provide and manage Information Systems in support of Administrative Department functional goals and the Information needs of Management.

Network Services Mission To support the learning environment by providing, high speed, transparent, and secure access to all IT services from any location on campus. For off campus users we aim to provide reliable connections to all on campus IT facilities.
