2 Head Snapping Turtles have long necks for rapidly attacking its prey. The snapping uses its long neck to put its head into its shell to protect its head.

3 Color Adaptations Snapping Turtles use camouflage to blend in with their surroundings. They blend in with the mucky water in the swamps.

4 Claws Snapping turtles use there claws to dig. They dig away sand for laying eggs. Their feet have webbing on them for swimming.

5 Tail Snapping Turtles have spikes on there tails for protection against predators.

6 Protective Shell Snapping Turtles have a shell for protecting itself and the shell provides the turtle with shelter.
