5. Benefits of the CERES-2012 11 A common framework for creation and processing of registration services based on the proposed Generic Registration Service (GRS). This service-level modular structure enables rapid and transparent composition of Specific registration services (SRS) for any CERES document processing scenario. Main features: Reduced reaction time of the registration of new document types avoiding extensive SW development Improved control of mission-critical publications. Monitoring of indicators of on-time publication delivery Selective access to publications and validation chains. The feature is relevant for publications with restricted access Dynamic case management component improving the work of system administrators Solution in line with the OP Transformation 2012 programme, mainly with the new interface components of CELLAR and METS
