2 THE SUPPORT. The support is the surface we work on. In general it is paper. It has to be smooth and slightly stiff. There are some different types of papers: -White and opaque, the most used. -Tracing paper. This one is transparent so we use it for tracing. -Graph paper. It has millimetric squares printed on what helps us to draw graphs. 2Techinal drawing tools.

3 GRAPHIC INSTRUMENTS. Graphite pencil.Felt pens. Mechanical propelling pencil. Rubber or eraser.Sharpener. 3Techinal drawing tools.

4 The bow compass: a tool for drawing curves. The rules: tools for drawing straight lines. Triangular set square: with them we can trace easily parallel and perpendicular lines. The protractor: a tool for transferring and measuring angles. 4Techinal drawing tools. Handle Compass point
