Chief Executive’s Statement: It was with great enthusiasm and delight that our company joined the Global Compact initiative in July, 2008. In the past two years I am proud to report that that enthusiasm and delight has not diminished. As a global company operating for twenty years we were always conscious of the importance of corporate responsibility and endeavoured to ensure that all business was conducted with integrity at all times. The Global Compact initiative provided us with a focus for our corporate responsibility initiatives which allowed us to both plan and measure our progress. As a member of the Global Compact, we believe that our business policies incorporate the ten principles. Our officers and employees fully support our actions in working towards sustainability goals in particular those contained in the Global Compact. We shall continue to endorse and advance the ten principles and use every resource available to do so. Peter Le Bas Chief Executive Officer Le Bas International
