3. Heavenly Father, we pray that everything we, your Church, do – both overseas and in the UK – would be characterised by love

4. May we be good stewards, who use the resources that have been generously given to us with integrity

5. And may we never do anything without first looking to you – the alpha and omega of all mission

6. Lord, in our weakness, we pray that you would continue to strengthen our faith, so that we see the world through your eyes

7. We pray for the workers BMS supports and the people we seek to serve

8. We pray that your Church around the world would grow and thrive – that people would find Jesus in unexpected places and express his life in prophetic ways

9. And we pray for the continued success of BMS church planting work in India and France

10. We cry out for the millions of children denied education

11. And we remember particularly the BMS- supported preschool project for disadvantaged children now run in countries across South America and in sub-Saharan Africa

12. For the oppressed, the voiceless, the abused, the trafficked, the marginalised and the vulnerable, we pray to our God of justice

13. Longing for an end to gender based violence

14. and calling for more commitments to creation care. We ask for success in our efforts to help individuals and communities in Africa, Asia and South America to grow sustainable livelihoods

15. And we pray that you would bless our medical work in places where healthcare is not easily accessible and enable us to transform even more lives

16. We pray specifically for our medical work amongst the poor in countries such as Afghanistan, Chad, Nepal and Tunisia, that your hand would be upon it

17. Lord, we lift up to you the future leaders we are helping to train and equip in South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa

18. And we remember those who have had their futures ripped away by disasters, natural and human-made

19. We pray for the millions of refugees around the world and ask that you would give us hearts of compassion for all those fleeing conflict

20. You are the highest goal of everything we do. Lord, we ask that you would guide, equip and bless your Church as we seek to bring your abundant life to those who desperately need it

21. In Jesus’ holy name we ask these things. Amen
