The Reasons When you indicate month-day-year, put a comma after the day and the year (unless some other punctuation mark such as a period or question mark follows the year). When you indicate day-month-year, (British form)do not use commas. When you omit the day, do not use a comma. Note: “me” should remain in sentence 3 because it is the indirect object of the sentence. “I” is used for the subjective not objective case.
