Cc:'orjan.johansson@ecs.ericsson.se' Subject:Bluetooth specification Dear Ian, It was nice meeting you in Washington. Short progress report, fyi: Following our report from the Washington meeting, the matter of conversion of Bluetooth specification(s) into ETSI standard(s) was discussed last week in the ETSI Board and this week in ETSI OCG (Operational Co-ordination Group, which is as body consisting of the Chairmen of all ETSI Technical Bodies). The Board asked the ETSI Secretariat to continue the discussions with the Bluetooth SIG and IEEE and also invited OCG to further discuss how to proceed. OCG decided to establish a small ad hoc group to analyze the proposals and initiate necessary actions. I have been tasked to be the contact person within the ETSI Secretariat.
