3 Required Elements Your first slide will be your title slide. Your second slide will be an Outline/Overview or Table of Contents The following slides - important and valuable information Your last slide - wrap up of what you covered...bring closure to presentation Project Length - 10-12 slides

4 Important Tips Be organized Use different font styles and sizes, charts, pictures, shapes and clip art Make sure that text and pictures are organized in a manner that is pleasing to the eye. Asking questions such as "What is? What are facts? Who's at risk? What are the signs and symptoms?, can be helpful when setting up your slides.

8 Assessment of 4th Quarter PowerPoint Projects (Worth 20 points) First slide is a title slide. Second slide is an outline or table of contents Third slide to your second to last slide should cover points from your table of contents. Define what your project is about early in the slide show. Be able to pronounce all of the words that you use

9 Assessment Continued… Be able to define all of the words that you use Speak loud enough Text color should be able to be read or seen by everyone. Font size is large enough so that the people in the back of the room can read it. Do not have too much text crammed onto one slide.

10 Assessment Continued… Pictures and text use are appropriate to your topic NO sound effects Transitions are appropriate. For example, you don’t want people laughing when you are talking about a serious topic. The title of the slide should appear or be on the slide before your points regarding that topic appear. DO NOT READ TO US
