12 12  Forming: Group is anxious/uncertain and leaders are distinguished.  Storming: Testing of leader’s capabilities and a pecking order is established. Rebellion may occur in this stage.  Norming: Authority questions are resolved and a team spirit develops. “Group cohesiveness” is defined.

13 13  Performing: Open communication and strong cooperation is focused on solving task problems.  Adjourning: Work or project is done. Some members may feel a sense of “loss.” Parties, award ceremonies or graduations may be the custom.
