Tips for International Students  Complete English requirements as early as possible  No credit for courses in language that was primary language of instruction in high school  Don’t “repeat” course work in which you had previously earned C or better grades  Don’t enroll in lower-level courses if you have already completed higher-level elsewhere  Have course descriptions available for appropriate CCC course placement  Consider less-impacted majors

5. International Applicants – Filling out the application  Provide complete academic history beginning with 9 th grade  Report all course work attempted from every institution attended both within and outside the U.S.  Report credits/hours and grades exactly as they would appear on an official transcript  Do not work from memory; misreporting grades and omitting course work is considered an academic integrity issue  Report any/all diplomas or degrees earned from any country
