Valerie’s Childhood At eight years old the first book she had ever borrowed from the library was “The Boy’s First Book on Electronics. At a young age she had high expectations of inventing things. Her father caused her to have a large interest in electronics.

Valerie’s School days She was excellent at math. Even though she was good at math she didn’t take advance courses. She went to Morgan State University and got her degree in physics. She was also excellent in computer technology.

Valerie’s Illusion Transmitter This device is used to transmit real images and recreate them on the receiving end. It includes a concave mirror at the transmitting end and a concave mirror on the receiving end.

Valerie at NASA At NASA she was an assistant program manger for Landsat As the assistant program manger she was also the technical expert in their Ground Station Operator Working Group In the late 1980s she was the manger for the Space Physics Analysis Network (SPAN) and helped to revolutionize new tools for scientific research
